Last weekend I paid her a visit to see some of her latest work at this new exhibit which just opened and will run indefinitely and I knew her photography rezzed I would be impressed.

Kim graduated from UCLA in the late 1960’s with a BA in Motion Picture Production. She shot stills for numerous magazines including Music World, Feature, Rolling Stone, Newsweek and People. She worked in the mid-seventies shooting for Island Records, covering reggae performers all over Jamaica. She has worked for over 25 years as a unit still photographer on motion pictures and television, including the early John Carpenter movies (“Halloween,” “The Fog,” Christine,” “Escape from New York” and “Halloween II”) as well as “Cheers” (for 9 years), “Family Ties” (for 5 years), “Star Trek -The Next Generation and Deep Space 9” and “Bob” (Bob Newhart’s last show) for Paramount television and Steven Spielberg’s “Amazing Stories” at Universal.

Here is a clip of an Interview Paisley Beebe Did with Kim a while back on Tonight live on Treet TV.

Kim and her Husband were at Comic Con this year (her Husband is a liaison between many of the television and film star panels and the Convention and was being interviewed at comic Con for a Doc that is being done by Joss Whedon’s production Co.)  Aside from the official Comic Con Photographer Kim was the only one with full photographic access to the event including backstage.. Drop in To SecondLife and TP over to her gallery.. Im sure you will enjoy her work as much as I do.

Currently This is the ONLY place they can be seen..
