Shannon Oherlihy Performs Live at Tuneiras West Farm On Live n Kickin

Shannon Oherlihy (Shannon McMahon in RL) has been singing since she was a little girl, when she sang into her hairbrush along with Carly Simon records. When she was nine, she got her first guitar, and started writing her own songs at the age of ten. Inspired by the music of John Denver, Gordon Lightfoot, Joan Baez, Joni Mitchell, Judy Collins and Bob Dylan, Shannon found her musical roots in contemporary folk.  Her CD “Some of My Years” includes songs that are soul-baring testimonies to love, loss and living one day at a time. You would almost think that the builders of Tuneiras West Farm in Second Life had Shannon in mind when they built a little stage-like lookout on one of the sims bluffs overlooking the farm filled with seemingly content horses and cattle among some of the other small animals you will see wandering about,  framed with incredible vistas. We would like to thank Duda Giano for allowing us to use his sim.  A beautiful peaceful setting for some beautiful peaceful music  on This Weeks Live n Kickin.
