Blues Heron (aka: Scott Hursey) plays his own compositions as well as covers by a wide range of artists and is known for his strong vocals and guitar style in many genres from old blues to contemporary songwriters. His SecondLife name is Blues but he writes and plays in a wide variety of styles. He is most influenced by songwriters who have a message or tell a good story backed with some great guitar work like Richard Thompson, Keb Mo, Bruce Cockburn, Eric Bibb and Jack Johnson. Blues streams into Second Life from his home studio on a small island on the coast of Alaska. His RL work keeps him out of Second Life for most of the summer (he owns and runs a tour boat in Alaska during the summer months) Some of his music can be heard at The Sixtyone.com
But its not summer in Alaska yet! So we got em for this weeks Live n Kickin.
for Blues Heron..we decided to go with The Mississipi Delta Blues trail sim in Second Life.
The Blues Trail is the birthplace of the blues…and they are placing markers along it to commemorate in RL…so Lee Merchant and Luna Bliss duplicated a town named Clarksdale, Mississippi that is very central to it all.. Come and see this Spectacular build by Luna Bliss.
