Jamba LosAngles Christian Hine in RL began his musical endeavors at the age of seven and at twelve had started his first band. Following his dreams to produce passion in the hearts of many he continued to play music throughout his college years playing drums. It didn’t take long that Christian saw thru the office life to a more artistic and more becoming life style.
After a few years of travel and over 60 songs writen, Christian formed the band Earth Tone, which gained a large enough following. The influences of artists such as Neal Young, Pink Floyd, and Pearl Jam, Peter Gabriel can be heard in his even recent styling.
The Gouy Tree CD a representation of history kept through stories was to be the driving life force behind Christian’s artistic work. A time capsule, so to speak, of the past ten years of mankind. This historic tree, the gouy tree, is located in the bush just outside of Dakar Senegal, Africa in a small village named Diorbel. Christian was approached by two elder men that told him that the villagers buried their beloved storytellers in the sacred hallowed tree to keep the villages history alive… More about Christian and the rest of this story here http://www.myspace.com/jambachristianhine
